Mike Gorham

Short Biography

"Mike helps business units of mutli-nationals and PE portfolio companies to turnaround and grow, both organically and through M&A.

His background is in strategy, marketing and business development for manufacturing and distribution businesses in technical and regulated markets such as agrochemicals, gases, building products, recycling & environmental services. Mike served on the executive team of business units for Lafarge in Asia and the Middle East, and the A-Gas group (KKR portfolio company). He was also Managing Director of Sundeala, a UK fibreboards manufacturer (Family office portfolio).

Mike has a particular expertise in pricing and sales effectiveness, backed-up with a strong digital skillset. He designs and delivers strategic change, with a focus on effective implementation. Examples of current freelancing work include interim business development for the nano-materials division of a multi-national minerals player, development of strategic partnerships for an award-winning bio-composites start-up, and development of a business intelligence platform for a garments wholesaler.

Prior to his INSEAD MBA Mike obtained a Bsc econ from the London School of Economics.
