Short Biography

Mohamad is a multilingual professional with international experience in both project and risk management in the construction field. He has been overseeing all the risk management activities in many local and international multi-billion dollars projects such as Mega 4800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Complex TBM tunnels under the Suez Canal, and huge Metro Lines. He has developed a formal risk management department from scratch in an international construction company after seeing and realizing the need of such approach to a successful completion of projects. He has proven experience in using Monte Carlo Simulation in anticipating project duration, budget and contingency. He is currently serving as an assistant project manager in a mega water treatment plant (5,000,000 m3/day).
His educational background served him very well for both being a better professional and experienced trainer. He holds BSc & MSc in Mechanical Power Engineering with concentration on Solar Water Desalination, in addition, he holds three certificates from PMI in project management, risk management and business analysis; namely PMP, RMP and PBA, and P3O from Axelos in portfolio and programme management. He has delivered several training courses and lectures to hundreds of attendees. And he is now serving as a subject matter expert with PMI, in addition to being a member in the educational committee with RIMS, and a speaker with RIMS.


Motivation

As part of GIPI & PGI, in addition to all my professional experience, volunteer experience and academic experience. I found that project management and risk management can really change and transform projects, businesses and entities. I would like to be part of changing the world in that regards.
