Founded 3lamposts Project Advisors out of a passion to help the 70% (projects that fail or are challenged).
30 years consulting, managing, or directing enterprise software implementations for product development firms. Strong mix of technology, business process, people and data migration experience within the digital thread. 5 years design engineering, design for manufacturing.
I've managed global projects (small firms to several Fortune 100 firms), led PMOs, developed/managed service products.
Ultimately, I like to help people improve their current state, transform to an improved state while becoming a better me.
Motivation
Projects & Co. speaks my language and aligns with why I founded 3lamposts Project Advisors.
Over my career, I became increasingly disenchanted with the big consulting firm mold. (e.g. many, many people on a project, high client spends, minimal value returned, …). It just wasn't right.
With 3lamposts, my mission is to address and help improve the 70% of projects that are challenged or outright fail. I have personally witnessed this % for most of my career working on projects; I find it fascinating. So how can I help clients achieve value in a shorter time span? Help them understand project operational deficiencies while also helping them make the best decisions for delivering incremental value (what to do first, second, ...). Too many times, trying to do everything at once fails, resources get burned out, client spend high $s, etc. I was simply tired of that and desired to make a positive difference. I developed an approach/methodology for identifying project disciple and program foundation issues.
I look forward to understanding how 3lamposts can support the Project&Co mission.
